Outdoor Fun & A Lesson to Learn
It's spring vacation and this week we went to the park.
Rain, hail, wind or storm ~ the kids were determined to go!
We had the park to ourselves and although small drops of rain began to fall, every drizzle was invisible for them.
They made every minute count playing, running, climbing, and joyfully screaming until it was time to go.
Tired and hungry the kids walked home in a single file but one child was too tired to keep up with the group.
At the corner of the road as we took a moment to wait, the child first in line went all the way to the back to the one who was falling behind.
She held her hand and walked beside her until we reached our destination.
What a sweet gesture of kindness that spoke a beautiful reminder that the journey is more important than reaching the destination.
