BIRTHDAYS！
We started the first day of July by learning how to say our birthdays. January 3rd, December 17th, June 8th… The one question we ask our students everyday this month is, ‘When is your birthday?’. Ordinal numbers can be a bit tricky for our kids to learn but with a lot of practice, they are getting better at it!!
A-Z ANIMAL NAMES!
We are learning names of different animals for our monthly vocabulary. Narwhal? Urchin? What is that?!! These are some animal names in English that our kids are not familiar with. They are hearing it for the first time, so we are learning something new! Great!
HOW MUCH?
There was a lot of excitement in the room when each child received money (fake notes)!! For a moment they felt rich until it was time to go shopping. The teachers pretended to be the shop owners and the children were the customers. The children practiced saying, ‘How much? How much is the vegetable/fruit?’
